“Why would I want my boolits to feed nose down?” you may be asking yourself well if you cast your own boolits then chances are you size them before loading them, Magma star sizers are very nice to use in my opinion and you can purchase a bullet feeding device with them from Magma engineering. The bullet feeders on the star sizers need to be hand fed unless you have a Bullet collator and then you have the problem of Bullet coalators being designed to feed bullets base down. When bullets are fed through the star sizer base down I notice a lot of hangups and flattened noses from the bullet punch pushing the bullet through the sizing die by the nose of the bullet. I have seen fellow casters use a bullet feeder to feed a tube with bullets all base down then tipping this tube upside down into the bullet sizer feeding device this works and I have done it before but if your looking for some time savings skip this step and use your MBF with my nose down conversion to keep your sizer fed.

I am always looking for ways to speed up this time consuming hobby since I have twin 4 year old boys and a 3 month old baby girl that are growing faster than I ever imagined was possible, time has become very valuable to me and makes this device worth every penny in my eyes.

Here are the bullets I have tested it with so far and as I get feed back from others trying them out I will add to the list of boolits it works with.

    45 225gr TCFP https://youtu.be/a1TeExjkbfY
    45 230gr RN https://youtu.be/dY8nXYSzZfA
    45 200gr SWC https://youtu.be/LNRPPYvEt-g
    40 180gr FP
    9mm 115gr RN https://youtu.be/Ku-8rlTcvHA
    9mm 147gr FP
    9mm 130gr RN
    38 160gr SWC
38 158gr SWC Redwood was able to get the conversion to work with these by adjusting the angle on the bullet feeder down to around 35*

The kits come with a plate that inserts into the slot that the original bullet feeder flip guide is normally in, and a plug for the original drop tube hole.

Current 6 black and 1 Green.

I am offering a 30 day money back guarantee, if it doesn’t work out for you send it back within 30 days for a full refund.
$25 shipped within the USA, if outside of the US send me a pm with your shipping info and I will get a quote on shipping. I accept PayPal gift or regular PayPal + the 3% fee. Thank you, Rick

So far looks like not as many fellow casters as I thought needed one of these as bad as I did. Feel free to pm me with any questions or concerns.

Why would one want to feed bullets nose down, and what larger piece of equipment does this part work with?

It's for automatic feeding on star sizers.

Any chance you could test it with the Lee 105gr SWC?

I'm guessing this would be for Mr Bullet Feeder and maybe the 3d printed collator available on Thingiverse? I have an RCBS pistol bullet feeder and have been wanting to experiment with a way it could pull double duty on the Star.

Sorry I don’t have any LEE 105gr SWC to try it with. You could always buy one and try it out if it doesn’t work send it back and I will give you your money back. Thanks

So far I've used mine with 147 gr. flat point 9mm, and 160 gr. SWC. Worked great with both bullets.

I've now tried the Nose Down Conversion adapter with 40 S&W 180gr. flat nose. Worked great with very little adjustment needed. This thing has really been a time saver for my sizing operation! Highly recommended!

Got mine and it works great after some adjusting. Have the bullet feeder attached to my resizing machine and I resized 500 rounds of 230g cast round nose in about 20 minutes.
