    Beretta 92S x2

Have been wanting a Beretta 92 and Jim at Jim's Gun & Pawn said he could get me into one for around $300 so I said order me one. Got it a few days later and was very pleased!! Took to indoor range and shot. Accurate as all get out, for me anyway. Has heel type mag release and small sights are the only faults, if you can call them faults. I liked it well enough, I had him order me another one! SOG have them on sale right now for $249

Good deal! That mag release is a total non issue for me. I'm green.

I am a lefty so it did not take much of a learning curve. Right handers might be a little easier.

How does it shoot cast? Mine wouldn’t shoot cast or plated for ****. Standard Fmj shot great! Super smooth action!

    They are excellent pistols!

The 92S is predecessor of the 92SB. The 92SB had a firing pin block and a 1911 style magazine release. The 92S had the mag release located near the heel of the grip and lacked the firing pin block but all of the Beretta 92 DNA was there. They really are solid pistols and at less than $300 they are good values.

Slug the barrel, when you get to that point. My 92FS has a larger bore .357-8 than some of my other 9mm.
