    How Lube Stop Ring Booits

I recently inherited a fine German target rifle which stop ring booits. It appears that my brother may have used some type of liquid or spray on lube. I know that this rifle shoots very well. I did not get any loading information as he passed away very quickly. The rifle is chambered in 8.15x46R. Any suggestions are greatly desired.

The 8.15x46R works best with 1:25 or 1:30 tin-lead alloy at velocities from 1100-1300 fps like the .32-40. Lee Liquid Alox works fine with 180-grain bullet and 13.5 grs. of 4227, 18 grs. of IMR4198 or 23 grs. RL7 powder, or pan lube with Emmert's or Darr.
