    Gorilla and Lee Liquid Alox

Hopefully this experience will help others.

With recent hand surgery, I was going crazy not being able to do much. So, with one hand, I began sizing and lubing some 1500 .45 acp cast that were sitting in a box.

I took a plastic bottle of Alox and "banged it" a little on my reloading bench to move the lube from one end of the bottle to the other.

The bottle split open 1/3rd way down one side and all the way across the bottom. Needless to say, it made a huge mess.
Am trying to salvage and use up what blew out of the shattered bottle the best I can. (Honestly, I was not violent with the bottle!)

    So - lesson learned.

Y'all take care, Bo in western NC

I had an Alox bottle that was shipped from Midway that had the bottom completely removed. Of course, Midway, being great, simply sent me a new bottle. But I'm guessing that the bottles don't hold up to a lot of banging. I had a few bars of lead in the box, and it looks like that is what ended up taking out the bottom of the bottle. (I now PC.)
