I use a Holman Study Bible and prefer the ESV.

I received a MacArthur study bible as a gift and I really am enjoying the notes. This one is a NASB and it is my first in that version. I also like ESV. I hear that the NASB and ESV are some of the better translations.

I like mine as an Ebook. I use a convertable tablet/notebook running windows 8.1 and Book Bazaar.(free app from windows app store)

Weighs nothing, you can right click and choose a book from the menu and you are there.
    Also has search.

Adjustable for size, font, bold, etc.

Free download, give it a try. Several download choices as to which format. I prefer epub.

They have a large selection of large and giant print bibles. I have had to go to the giant print. This time through I am using the CSV. I still like the 1984 NIV best.

I’m reasonably sure most versions are available in a large print. I think Ghosthawk had a great suggestion, with the tablet and e-bible option. You can adjust the resolution, zoom in and out, etc.

My preference is the Amplified version. Longer reading but well understood.

New American Standard is my favorite translation. Easy understood and clear.
