    What Mould design?

If you could only get one mold to use for your 45 single action handgun and your lever action rifle, which one would you pick, and why.

Lee makes a RNFN bullet of about 240gr's or so. it's for rifles and pistols. I had the mold and it worked just fine. and it's accurate. get the 6 holer and you can cast all you need for a week or so in an hour or so.

Whatever you pick, make sure it will load in your rifle. Some of them are very specific as to cartridge length. Revolvers tend to be much more forgiving.

RNFP. The original hyphenated cartridges were designed with a "compromise" nose profile. Round nose for feeding and a wide meplat for hunting. They were also bottle necked so that helped with feeding too. The semi wadcutter is a more modern improvisation of the old RNFP but the former gives little up in the flat nose for reliability and was made for lever actions.

Actually 255gr but casts around 260gr +. A good choice for a do all bullet design in 45colt.

If your groove diameters will work with Lee that is a decent mold. If you need a bit more diameter, the NOE 454-255 is a dandy.
