Don't know what it is but it looks like something disk shaped slides into those rails into the v shaped slot. It reminds me of a window crank handle tool for removing old style car window crank handles.
May very well be a window handle remover. Won't surprise me a bit if it is LOL
Thanks
Doug

It's a "whatcha macallit". Oh well, just felt silly.
And I thought it was a thing-a-ma-jig.

Sorry man, that just gave us a chance for winter cabin fever humor. I do not have a clue as to what it is. james
I spent about two hours googling names of things that it might be on google images. Found some cool stuff but not your tool. From the looks of it, it could hold some kind of disk thing to slide into a slot thing. Or to release a disk thing or catch thing or clip thing in some kind of narrow opening. Good luck. I did run into some very interesting things on that search though. Here is a link to one really cool place:

I thought about posting this book in the gunsmithing section of castboolits. I am sure many others would find it very interesting.
Don’t know how wide it is but almost looks like a handle for a disposable razor scraper
No need for an apology. Enjoyed ever response myself. It is a rare occurrence when the Wise members of this forum are stumped. I really don't know myself but don't feel near as Dumb LOL as I did. Thanks for reading my friends. Maybe someone will eventually stumble on this thread and put us all to shame.
Have a GREAT weekend my friends

Given it's stamped nature I would assume it's a specific tool for a specific use - kind of like the old bicycle tools. Unless you know the manufacturer and what they manufacture you are playing a guessing game. It is not a universal use tool like a box wrench or pair of pliers, but a one off type of thing.

Wayne ,
I agree with you completely BUT but but but it says TOOL right on the front of it. If we want to continue to carry our Man Cards we must be able to identify it. LOL

Actually it says 733A tool. I have no idea what it is but it looks mass-produced for a specific purpose.
Warning: I know Judo. If you force me to prove it I'll shoot you.
Sorry for the poor photography. It actually says 793A TOOL. Agree it looks mass-produced. But maybe not too mass-produced or surely one of us would have seen one before.
