OK, I have to ask the dumb question, but how fast can the coated one reasonably be pushed without leading? I have 4 and 5" 627s and 16 and 20" Rossi carbines. GF

I load and shoot these from my 6" colt python near max. Accuracy is excellent. If you trust your scale as I trust mine your good. No proplems yet. Im using 296 and/or 2400. Mandatory use of lyman m die for case belling. Anyway, thats how I roll. Doesn't seem to be popular if I go by sales, but the new marlins are out and that will change. This Style is way under rated. I'm not complaining because I always have plenty for me. They are extremely accurate in the new marlins in .38/.357. is all I can add from feed back. Use current load data.

Thanks for the info as I will probably be ordering some soon. I have shot a great many of the rnfp in cowboy guns and I use the same boolit in .38 +P because of the flat profile that still loads well with speed loaders. I would probably load Unique or Universal Clays for revolver and H110/296 or 2400 for slower-burning rifle loads. GF

When I had the bullet business & was too busy casting to make ones for myself I shot many of this same bullet, 158 RNFP [from a different company] in my K-38 with 3.0 grains of Bullesye. It is a great plinker. Yes they were hard cast & used hard lube but they did fine.
