Will magma sell a replacement handle?

I am considering bidding on a used star sizer. It's missing it's handle, looks like seller has jury rigged a screwdriver as the handle. If I can get a proper replacement handle I'll probably bid on it.

Magma are good on spare parts for all their products. I would be surprised if they couldn't sell you the original handle, or any other part you may need.

The original handle is just an old style file handle so perhaps you can buy one at a hardware store and attach a 3/8 steel rod and be done for approximately $10.
    Here's the file handle:

However, if you want a roller handle you can always order from lathesmith and you'll get a very well made handle.

    I hope this helps

They show regular handle as well as the swivel handle, which I would like to try, price listed for swivel but not regular handle, unless I am missing it, best to check with them,

Magma has made some minor design changes, so when purchasing parts, make sure you tell Magma you want parts for an Original Star. Some of their current parts are not compatible with the original Star lubesizers, but they generally have parts for the originals too.
