I have a old sks barrel laying in a corner and got to wondering. With this chrome liner bore can I push the shoulder forward with out tearing up the tools? And if I lengthen the lead? Don't worry fellas I am not trying to stick a 300 RUM into it!!

Look twice, shoot once.
you need to hone out any chrome first.
