Anybody know what gun this sight belongs to?

A buddy asked if I knew what gun this sight came from. I have no idea, never saw one before. It looks like it might be military, but I can't even be sure of that. It has click adjustments for windage and I'd guess it had a screw through the hole and into the reciever to adjust the elevation.
    Any help would be appreciated.

Most likely goes with a mid production Asperly Aimless heavy rifle.

That look on your face, when you shift into 6th gear, but it's not there.

Now there is a seldom seen and rarely mentioned rifle these days.

Close, but none of the Bren pictures that I googled show a sight with the windage adjustment.
    Thanks.
