    Yes it is. My research indicates it is better for cold weather though. In hot weather it can cause problems... of about 85ish degrees (cant remember exactly). Not sure of the affect if used sparingly though. Felix lube calls for it. It is a water repellant so that can be a plus if your bullets are exposed to the elements.
