    RCBS Press Question

    Son in law picked up a used press. It is stamped R8 on the side. OK friends, what model is it? Sorry fellows eyes getting bad It is STAMPED RS so I guess it is a Reloader Special RUFF getting OLD LOL

    Yep, Reloader Special. It was the first press my brother bought and I used it a time or two and I liked it. In operation I could tell no difference between it and my rockchucker. Both are excellent presses. my experience anyway, james

    Can you post a pic? RS may have been the precursor to the Jr. Look on the pivot linkage and see if there are two holes for the handle.

    I think the RS followed the Jr. I had a Jr.3 before the RS was out, anyway. Chris (arisaka99) has it now.

    RS - Reloader Special. As far as I know, it is the same frame as a JR and was bundled with some additional tools like dies etc.

    The press can be mounted upside down if desired. The second handle location allows it to work.
