I’m asking for a friend who is 82 years old he has a Swedish carbine that is parts matching the bolt to the receiver to the rifle however the gun will not go off it will not fire if you take the bolt out of his carbine and put it in another rifle it will fire and if you take another rifle and put it in the carbine it will fire does anybody have any idea what’s going on any tips that you might be able to help me with? Thanks

Yes the Cox the striker however it’s almost like the firing pin doesn’t shoot forward whenever you pull the trigger

Take the barrel/action out of the stock and see if it will fire. If it does then something in the stock is blocking the trigger from fully disengaging the sear on the striker.

Loosen the rear guard screw. Maybe the spacer is missing that keeps the stock from compressing?

Check the trigger interlock too and where it engages on the bolt.
