    Death of friend/co-worker

I'm sitting here in shock, my heart is sunken, and can't go to sleep. A co-worker of mine named Denise Leadingham and her husband were killed on a motorcycle today on I 77 . They leave behind 2 kids, a girl about 20 and a boy still in highschool. If you can slip in a prayer for their kids and 320 co-workers tonight it would be greatly appreciated.

    Prayers sent, sir.
I don't paint bullets. I like Black Rifle Coffee. Sacred cows are always fair game. California is to the United States what Syria is to Russia and North Korea is to China/South Korea/Japan--a Hermit Kingdom detached from the real world and led by delusional maniacs, an economic and social basket case sustained by "foreign" aid so as to not lose military bases.

I went to visitation today. it is a double funeral and they expect 5 to 7 thousand total. They were very active in the community and touched many people's lives through their community work which was often with children.

Thanks for everybody that replied. We had their final memorial today at work and it was tough to get through. Their kids were there and there wasn't a dry eye in the place. Their visitation drew so many folks it went 4 hours over and many never got to the viewing. ( estimated 2500) The funeral was maybe the biggest ever in our area. There were and estimated 1000 in attendance and people lining the streets as the procession went by for blocks. They were both involved in public service for over 20 years, so there were two different color guards, fire trucks, Police from many towns, firefighters, paramedics, a medical airlift chopper overhead and too many motorcycles to count (including the "Patriot Guards" standing guard). It was quite a send off for two extraordinary people.

I lost a coworker earlier in the year. Glad that you were able to attend the services. The family of my coworker had the service hundreds of miles away and very few were able to attend. It is never easy, make sure the children get what they need when in need.

I hope you are dealing with this OK . It is always hard to know what to do or say.Even now I will say a prayer.
It ain't a sin to be stupid, but it is awful unhandy.
