NOE copy of the Saeco 315

I loaded these in LC .308 brass that was annealed then FL sized and trimmed to 2.005”
Boolits checked and lubed weigh 181gr. Lars 2500+ lube in the bottom two grooves only. They also got an overcoat of BLL. The boolits were heat treated to a bhn of 20.

44.3gr of IMR4831 gave an average MV of 2180fps with a SD of 10.64
CCI large rifle primers were used. The group was fired at 100 yards laying prone out of the bed of my pickup using a bipod and a rear bag.
The rifle is a Rem 700 with a heavy 22” battle with a 1:10 twist.

    Very nice cast boolit shooting.
I have that very boolit in both pb and gc. Very accurate in my .308 mauser, but with one minor problem lol.....the mauser doesn't want to feed it from the mag. no matter if it's seated out long or short.

Oh well, shoots great when i single feed them on top of the ramp.

That's some good speed you got with that boolit in your 10 twist ....NICE!

That is the same boolit I use. I started with a 5 cav aluminum PB mold and then got a 2 cav brass GC mold for the casting machine I built. That is what I use for the win 94 30-30 to shoot silhouettes and in the win 54 30-06 for plinking.

That is some great shooting and a very nice group.
