This beauty is a Remington built 03 Springfield. I haven't shot it. The bore (drum roll please) is bright and shiny. It's not the original barrel as it was rebarreled during WW II as you can see from the last pic. Starting bid is $450.

This is a Remington 582 and fires .22 Short, Long and Long Rifle. Really will feed 'em all too, even the little Colibri poppers. Which is how I bulged the end of the barrel. It was a 24 inch rifle, but with the bulge I cut off it's now 19 and 3/8ths. Since I had it in the lathe, I threaded the muzzle 1/2 by 28 so I could use my 9mm suppressor. Pretty quiet with it too. I bought it used about 20 years ago. The factory puts a red plastic follower in the mag that pushes the rounds into the action. This one's broke so I machined one out of brass. No other issues. Shoots very well. Starting bid is $150.

I've hit my limit of 10 pics per post so I'll continue with another.

The 03 looks like a stamped floorplate has been switched out for the original. Is this true?

Next up is a Savage 219 in .30-30. This belonged to a riflesmith friend of mine and he wasn't shy about swapping barrels. It started life as a .30-30 and then went through about five different calibers. Ended up back where it started as a .30-30 except it's not the original barrel. He had a brand new take-off from a heavy barrel Remington 700 in .308 and he plugged that in and chambered it to .30-30. It's 22.5 inches long. This was back before Remington was sold down the river and it shoots like a house afire. The action cocks on opening and he was just too old to work it anymore. Bidding starts at $200.

Next up is another of his rifles. For a while Remington imported a Russian made single shot 410. Well my friend ended up with one, didn't need another 410 so he re-barreled it in .22 K-Hornet with a used Remington .22 rimfire barrel. It's 22 inches and the whole thing weighs six pounds. The barrel still has the original 410 marking on it. It's marked "K-Hornet" on the barrel lug that's visible when you open the action. If the buyer wants I can mill off the 410 and mark it K-Hornet on the outside, but a person would be hard pressed to chamber a 410 in it. Starts at $150.

This one is a Kel-Tec folding rifle. In .40 S&W and it takes the Glock 23 or longer magazines. It is almost new. I can out-shoot it with my 03A3 but it shoots fine for what it is. Folds in half to about 16 or 17 inches. It has a recoil buffer and a stock cover that I added. Pretty much stock other than that. Feeds and fires cast fine. It liked the Lee 180 grain flat point. Starts at $250.

Here is an American Derringer in .45 Auto and Auto Rim. I've worked on this one a bit. Shortened and checkered the hammer, took 40 or so pounds off the trigger. I can outshoot this one with just about everything! But if you want some power in your pocket this will deliver. They chamber this gun in .44 mag so it's plenty tough. This comes with a bag of new Starline .45 Auto Rim brass and a left hand pocket holster I made out of some Kydex. The holster holds two extra rounds. It also comes with the two Speed Strips shown loaded with six rounds of ammo but not the ammo. Starts at $200.

Yet another American Derringer in .45 Auto/Auto Rim. I worked on this one more. Lightened the trigger (!), shortened and checkered the hammer, flattened the grips and installed a Trijicon trintium night sight. The sight is dated 2010 so it'll glow for some years yet. This pistol was built in '98 and comes with it's original box and a left hand pocket holster that I made and it holds three rounds of ammo. With this front sight it shoots pretty much to point of aim at 15 feet with a heavy Keith load. Does have some recoil. Also the two Speed Strips (no ammo) and a bag of new Starline .45 Auto Rim brass. Starts at $250.

Lastly is a Kel-Tec PF-9. The slide is factory finished in Nickel-Boron. 9mm with two extra mags and three mag bases that have a finger groove to hang you little finger on unless you have gorilla hands. The original box and stuff. Starts at $150.

    Red Elk,

Yes, the trigger guard is stamped. Should have mentioned that in the original post but I forgot to. I really don't know much about Springfields so I don't know if when some were re-built during the war if they got stamped trigger guards or not. Can't say when it was installed. I know it's not original, or I'm pretty sure not.

No Adam, the original barrel was cut off, the lug and such were bored out and then the 30 caliber barrel was inserted into the bored out action. That left a clean .30 caliber rifled hole from end to end. Then it was chambered to .30-30.

I got mixed up when he was telling the history of this rifle. It started life as a Hornet, then went through about five other chamberings to end up a .30-30.

Hope I'm clear enough to be understood there.
