    Winchester 1890

Hello fellow shooters. Have a question about the little Win 1890 pump .22. I have one that the barrel is stamped 22 Long. No Long that I have here and that's about 3 brands will not feed through it. However, any LR will feed and shoot all day long. Have no problem doing that. I do wonder though was there a last Min change to some of these before they left the factor? The rifle is in great shape. Tight action and all complete. Can't see any evadence of mishandling.

Was just wondering if any of you ever ran across this. Thanks.

i would speculate somewhere along the line, someone reamed it for 22lr and changed the lifter.
