It is PLA Pro which was new to me. After working with it I really like it. Prints like PLA but strength is better then ABS because its not so brittle. It wants to run hot though. I am printing first layer at 80/220 and the rest of the print at 70/210 (bed/extruder).

For black I am using standard Overture pla.

I also have just used the same Filament for case feeder on my 550, it was excellent, better than prusament, the color is close as you can get to Dillon, the supports were easy to remove also. I'm a PETG fan, I only use PLA when I need a specific color or have lots of supports. This would be my go to PLA for the future.

Unfortunately the blue appears to be out of stock for now. Hopefully it comes back soon. I have about a half roll left.

    Hi Tyler,
If you look, many of the PLA providers are out of stock, or the prices have increased dramatically. For instance, A month or so ago, I bought some Sunlu black PLA+ for $17.00. It's now $29.00+. The only readily available PLA seems to be 28.5mm or a few non-common colors. I checked the Sunlu website, and while the PLA is available and very reasonable, when you go to check out and the shipping is $100 USD! I'm glad I have a few rolls stashed away and don't use a whole lot.

Interesting. I assume it's virus related from both a supply and usage perspective?

I'm sure if it happens with sanitizer, alcohol, TP, paper towels, meat, and ammo/reloading components, it can certainly happen with this!

All the people making face shields, took the market by storm and they bought up all the filament. I'd be surprised if even 20% of all those home made face shields were even used. I digress, ebay often has the same filament as Amazon for the same price, just takes a little longer to get it to you.

    Impressive!
As I recall, didn’t you say that the ramp is removable?
If so, that will be a very nice feature.
What’s the widest dimension on the base?
(wondering if my printer is big enough)

Yes the ramp can be swapped out for different designs. I am running a pretty unique one for the case feeding open side down.

    Size is roughly 190 x 210mm

I would like to donate this original feeder I made to anyone interested, for the cost of shipping. I have it feeding 45acp nose up and down perfectly. Anything outside of that I can't guarantee. It has the motor and I will throw in a switch with the electronics box. Will still require other electronics and the springs. I will even throw in a 13mm drop tube. Just reply if you want it.

I custom made a paddle out of aluminum that could be held in place with a 3mm screw. It was some hand work and filing to get it right.

    Hi,
Karl is already using the hex drive, and I have modified my case and bullet collator wheels to use the same. It's a fairly easy mod and I usually include a little mushroom on top to make it easier to pull off. The one pictured is for .45 Colt Cases

    Hi,
If you have Ammomike83's bullet collator SCAD file, use openSCAD (a public domain CAD program) to modify the actual CAD, then you make a new STL. I've never had any luck in editing/modifying an STL other than setting it up for printing in Cura.
