Fact: Some people are alive simply because it's illegal to kill them.
I have a Lyman .50 and .54 plains pistol, both are tack drivers but would be hard to choose between them and my Ruger Old Army, who happens to have a .45 Colt cylinder too. It shoots great as cap an ball, have taken 2 deer with it shooting 210gr slugs I cast up for it!!!
Probably my ROA.
My favorite is my only BP pistol at the moment, a Pietta 1851 Navy in 36 caliber. It is a very nice looking revolver, but has been a source of frustration. After replacing nipples and a little file work on the hammer it seems to function ok for the time being.
My next will be a 1858 Remington .
Favorite BP pistol,,,my SAA 46 Colt.
Favorite muzzle loader pistol,,,any!!!

Underhammer boot pistol. Thinking it was Hopkins & Allen? Were found in.36/.45. Then TC Patriot, Rugers fine caplock revolver.

The one I shoot most often is an old Uberti .36 Remington revolver..... it's built on a .44 frame, so the cylinder/chamber walls are extraordinarily thick (very handy for experimenting with homebrew powders).

I really enjoy my Brass 1858 44 reproneverwas .
But I also like the Colts Dragoon repro I recently acquired .
I have several others but I expect these 2 will stay until I can't shoot them anymore .

I only got one, it's my favorite until I trade it off. I'm not into charcoal burners unless they are

my uberti 58 Remington in stainless steel with the .45 colt cylinder. I keep it loaded with six in the tool box in my shop. just in case.
My Uberti 51 Navy. I need ivoryex grips and a crossdraw holster for it. Wild Bill wannabe.
Depends on what day it is! The mint mid run 1967 RNMA Centennial is the high, I really need to make myself shoot it and not just fondle it!
