Got 17.5 pounds of pewter for $20 last night from an antique dealer. He doesn't have anyone to take it anymore since the guy they used to give it to no longer casts tin soldiers. He said his buddy has a whole tote for me and that the 17#'s he found around his warehouse is just a small dent in what he has.

Wow, that really is great, both the 17 #'s and the connection. I can find pewter, but the effort put into the scrounging is high. Having a go to guy for pewter is really rare.
I got it all melted down today but didn't get a chance to weigh it. Next is to take it and get it XRF scanned along with my little chunk of possible silver.
