First, where did you find the picture? Amid the rumors of a new Lee 4 station progressive press it appears you may have found it.....Interesting indeed. If it's made with the quality of the Classic series I quite possibly would consider one. Need better pics and info. Thanks for the post.

Nice. I been looking at the lee turret press. Since that is coming out i will have to save a bit more lunch money for that.

Someone posted it on the facebook group "LEE Reloading & Casting Equipment Group".
I would also like to see bigger better photos...but I believe that is all that is available today.

I am not a progressive press kind of guy, I bought a new Pro-1000 a few years ago and mounted it to a bench and dry cycled it, I didn't like all the things happening at the same time, as I like to watch each function happen. I never did use the Pro-1000, I unmounted it and sold it.
But I have to say, this one has me rethinking my opinion.

Hmmm, appears to be a turret press with non-removable turret. Dies changed only, quick change via breech lock bushings, not complete turrets. Not warming up to the idea...

No, not a turret press, it's a progressive with a setup like the Hornady. Solid press head, quick change bushings for the dies. The shellplate rotates as do all progressive presses. That solid head feature is the ONE thing I really like about the Hornady over the other progressive presses on the market.

Except for the 'Breech Lock' die holders, appears to function just like my old (circa 1984) Dillon RL450...which still churns out 250-300 rounds per hour. When it was new it would do better than that but it's cycle rate has slowed down some due to wear & tear on the guy pulling the handle.

Livin cincy had post a link here at post 18; http://castboolits.gunloads.com/show...-Hole-Pro-1000 it has a full page ad.

Best I can tell it has nothing in common with any of the other presses other than the die bushings.

More like a new replacement Pro1000 with 4 hole breechlock head. I wouldn't call it a turret press. Turret presses handle a single cartridge case at a time that doesn't move or index, the dies rotate through. This new LEE has fixed dies and a rotating shellplate.

Looks interesting, I might entertain the thought of adding one to my bench. I'd rather have seen something more like a Dillon 550 style toolhead vs. the breechlock system but it is what it is.

Guess they figured if Hornady could do it on their LNL without a positive lock, they could do it too with one.

I looked at the price of (4) Breech Lock bushings vs a 4 hole Turret over on Titan Reloading. It is going to cost more to do caliber conversions. I have the red round die box for turrets so I would not need those. So it is close to a wash.

There has been a great deal of commentary about the turret heads moving Up when the case pushes up. Of course the same folks ignore that alignment by movement design on other brands. So they silence that argument.

Will the bushings fit in the LEE Die box ? I have never used them.

I'll be 64 next month and feel I can easily get another 10+ years service from my old 3 hole turret and my old Pro1000. Now I'll just have to stock up on small parts before they become obsolete by Lee and we cannot get them any more.

It's a neat idea, especially if you've got your dies set up in bushings for use in their single stage press

If I have to buy breech lock adapters for each die I own, I would be in the poor house overnight. I don't mind screwing the dies in and out when I need to change in my single stage presses. I'm only 76 so it has not become a burden yet. Maybe it will on the future, who knows. james

LEE BREECH LOCK BUSHING LOCK RING ELIMINATOR
    $6
They work really well with the split clamp
I think the price is reasonable

That would make a difference. $6.00 would be a big savings over having to buy 30 or 40 breech lock rings.

Most prices i see are 10-16 for a pack of 2. That's two packs per a caliber x the number of calibers you reload for + a few extra for the extra dies used and becomes not so reasonable. I would call a dollar or two a piece more reasonable.
