    Have NOE 358 135 FN mould and need some load data.

    Looking to knock the newness off a NOE 358 135 FN no GC mould for some 9mm. Have a good supply of Red Dot for this load out just need some decent starting data. Anything from plinkers to “general purpose “. Looking to cast these from COWW lead and PC them. Always interested in someone’s pet load for this boolit.

    You should not extrapolate from a data sheet but you can interpolate. Find the start loads for 125 gr cast and the start loads for 147 gr cast using the same powder. Split the difference on the START loads for 135 gr. IE of 125 st load is 4 gr powder X and 147 is 3.6 gr use 3.8 for your start loads with similar bearing surfaces.

    I have used 3.7 grains of Titegroup with that boolit, also tried 4.3 grains of Bullseye and 5.0 grains of Power Pistol. But the economical and mild Titegroup load was best for my purposes.

    I like this bullet in my 357 SIG. its weight is a nice balance and that WFN is a "smacker"!

    Its worked well in my Super as well.

    NO feeding issues and overall good accuracy none of my loads are heavy.

    These are what I have developed in a 7" barrel that stays subsonic with the NOE 135gr. This bullet is a good one as far as accuracy at extended ranges. I really like how easy it is to cast with almost no rejects from my 4 cavity mold. These are all 5 shot averages

    Red dot 3.0gr =950fps
    3.3gr =1008
    3.4gr =1030
    3.5gr =1059

    I have the same mould. I use the data listed on the Hodgdon load data site for the 140gr bullet.Gp

    Thanks everyone for the info. Some great starting points. Now to get busy casting and coating.
