I use pvc 4 inch pipe with test caps I used this on one end https://www.homedepot.com/p/Oatey-4-...9103/100113503 I do not suggest it, because mine just broke. On the other end I use https://www.homedepot.com/p/Oatey-4-...403D/100204964. what I will do now is use the mechanical plastic test plug on both ends, but one of the plugs I will remove the wing nut and put a regular nut because I had the wing nut get caught on the motor side once. I also got some non-skid strips and put them around pvc pipe.

I have this exact set up. Works great. Be careful if you go this route. East to over fill that pvc pipe with pins and whatever your tumbling. Takes longer to complete and puts undo strain on the belt. YMMV - CASTER

I often use plastic screw on top jars with "agitators" glued on the ID. I have a couple 1 lb protein powder jars that I epoxied a small strip of 1/2" molding to act as an agitator, about 6" long to the inside wall (or else the media and brass would just slide down the sides as the jar turns).

1/2" aluminium rod from another project, 1 2x4 and an old plastic paint can. I have plenty of batteries for that drill so I can run it as long as I need to. Works well for free
