QUIS CUSTODIET IPSOS CUSTODES?
The Factory Crimp Die will be for a neck diameter roughly the same as 9mm, so it won't work on .40 S&W. If the Bulge Buster is the same as the push through sizing dies meant to reduce the entire length of the case, then it will work. The Magma Case Master Jr. works on this principal, and I'm able to run 357 Sig, 40 S&W and 10mm brass through the same die.
Hope this helps.

After a shooting spree, they always want to take the guns away from the people who didn't do it. - William S. Burroughs.
The FCD for the .357sig is a collet type die, not with the carbide insert like for the straight wall pistol cartridges. I am sure the .40sw die would work with the BB kit on .357sig brass but I do not see the need. I never had the need or desire to run any of .357sig brass through a pass thru die. In my experience the .35sig brass seems to have a more robust web than a lot of .40 brass and the chamber at the feed ramp is usually supported more on .357sig than .40 in most pistols from the factory.
Thanks for the answers.
