    M&P Shield M2.0 Opinions?

Has anyone here bought or shot one of these yet? Specifically, the .40 caliber chambering? I’m seriously tempted to buy one of these. I do remember reading about that rash of kaBOOM!’s from a few years ago, which all involved the .40 caliber Shield and 180 grain ammunition. I’m wondering how the new Shields hold up and if there is still any inherent risk involving that particular loading.

The rash of Kabooms was with Glocks and their unsupported chambers. I have run thousands of 175-180gr. jacketed and boolits though my first generation Shield. The recall was for the safety hinge on the trigger.
I know nothing of the 2.0 except more grip stippling and a better trigger.
