    Dang! Closest I came was a pheasant almost giving me a heart attack. We had came back to the trucks to go to the next spot when a hen flew up in the middle of us. Then I looked down and I was standing on another hens wing. We were hunting without a dog that day so the birds just sat tight.

    My wife is a ICU nurse, and once took care of a fella that hit a buzzard on his Harley! It hit him in the head and knocked him of the bike, plus I KY you don't have to wear a helmet and I'm sure that didn't help. I also know of a rider that was knocked of his motorcycle by a deer into the path of a car and killed!
