Any comments on Henry Long Ranger?

I looked at threads, tried my hand (extremely ham fisted) at searching this site, and was wondering about how this series of levers have worked out in reality , not some Internet gun reviewers dream writeup.

Curiosity mostly, as one the LGS guys made the comment towards having 3 sold through the store, and all 3 went back to Henry for ejection/extraction problems. These happened to be .223 versions, but wondering if all 3 calibers were suffering from the same problems.

They sure look like nice guns, however I think the Browning BLR has the small market for this type of rifle in the bag. I could go for a .223 Long Ranger that took AR mags though!

    I would like a couple
Will let them work out the issues that new models seem to have in general

I wouldn't hesitate to be a beta tester for one like I mentioned.

They look ok and on Henry's site several different guys shoot it and comment. It cycles fine in the video, but they don't show the target they shot at. I thought that strange.
Anyway, my long ranger has always been and will probably always be- bolt action!

Right now, my long ranger is either a 308AR or my AR15 Dissipator, but I cannot leave the levergun idea alone when thinking about something that reaches out farther than the 45/70 in a levergun; or just feels as good in my hands when carrying as a levergun does.
I know, I know....Browning. But for whatever reason they don't trip my trigger at all...too much flash/gaudy about them for me I guess.

Bubbaw/a45/70, how about a Savage 99 or if you can find them- a Win model 88 or Sako Finnwolf? Also the Marlin .308 and .338 XLR might do.

    I will look at those.

As far as the Marlin 308...i want to keep my loads usable between rifle.....not another caliber or such.
