    Back in the day. 22-HP was the preferred night time deer rifle up this way along with those retro fitted 6 volt lantern flashlights having a Radio Shack rheostat like on-off switch installed instead of their typical on-off switch.. Heard allot of deer had their knee's buckled with that combo years ago. Oh BTW: I do have a 1899 T/D model w/ 30-30_ 22-HP rifle barrels & rare 410-ga barrel that's probably worth more than the rifle itself so its been commented. Bullets for the 22 HP barrel? Still have a couple full box's of Speers around here someplace. Never crossed my mind to cast for the HP. I've always had jacketed available for its pleasurable shooting.
