    Alox floor polish

I've been using straight alox mostly but want to do the 45 45 10 but what are you guys using for the johnson liquid floor wax. I see a couple different ones around but kowning the knowledge here and guys testing stuff just wonder what's working best.
Muzzleloaders....why don't you pick one up and smoke it sometime

Serving my Lord and Savor has been one of my biggest challenges and for sure biggest joys in my life....
Thank you Jesus....you changed the rhythm of my heart.

45/45/10 is made wih Johnson's Paste Wax. Johnson's Liquid Wax is used to make BLL. Some have been substituting Lundmark Wax for making BLL since the Johnson's Liquid Wax has been discontinued.
I have plenty of the liquid Johnson's on hand, so have not tried the Lundmark.
The Johnson's Paste Wax for 45/45/10 is still available.

35 shooter is preaching you the straight dope, listen to him.

He also has some of the better results I've seen posted using BLL.

    Now we have that settled.

My current batch is sort of a halfway between BLL and 45/45/10.

Started with Alox, Johnson's One Step liquid floor wax, but added a big chunk of Johnson's paste wax. Heated until it was incorporated.

It is just another way to get some Carnuba wax in there which leaves a nice hard shell and super shiny clean bores.

If you are going to follow a recipe, pick one, either one, they both work.

If you are going to go 4 wheeling and playing out in the weeds, and you get stuck.
You only have you to rely on. No one else is going to be able to help you. So a certain amount of common sense, writing down ingredients used will tend to be helpful.

    Have fun.

Aside from Lundmark, is there a working substitute for Johnson's Liquid? I saw something at Ace Hardware called Jubilee, but don't know the contents. At Home Depot they keep pointing me to the urethane when I ask for liquid floor polish. Words of wisdom, anyone?
