    I had my buddy who is still working (I'm retired) cut me a couple of blocks of red fir about 14" diameter and 30" long to use as work surfaces in my shop. He runs a timber processor, dropped the blocks off on the way home from work. I'll use one in the toy hauler garage as a Lee Loader whack surface. Prolly fasten a square bottom of 3/4" plywood on it to keep it from rolling around while traveling.
