any interested in Miha making a 460-405 with a SWC and Gas Check?

I've got a new toy, Marlin 1895 in 45-70, and Miha doesnt have what I'm looking for. I'd like a Elmer keith style nose with 2 or 3 grooves and a GC base. Maybe even in 500 gr also?

Would anyone else be interested in this? I could setup the GB...

    Thanks,

    Lakehouse2012

I went ahead and purchased the design tools from TMT, they seem to work really well. Here is my first attempt. I'm looking for your thoughts on it (good and bad).

I'm in if he can also to a Plain Base Hi-Tek/PC without lube grooves and size 460. +1 on the deep pins.

I’d say cut it at .462 so it will work for everyone. I’ll be in

I will ask Meatpuppet, but I believe this would mean he cuts 2 cherry's.

Definitely Fastleo, I will list .459-.462 to encompass everyone's diameter.

LOL - Yes, I have it right at 500 gr with the HP using WW's..... Would be 514 gr using pure lead with the HP. Remove the pins and you get 546 gr...

Does anyone have an opinion on 500 gr vs 400 gr?

I’d much prefer to be near the 400gr weight, that’s where my accuracy is best

Good feedback, that is where I was originally leaning. Here is a 400

    WW's w/HP it is 400 gr.
Pure lead w/HP is 413 gr.
Solid using pure is 444 gr.
Solid using WW's is 431 gr.
