    AR 300 Blackout pistol and exposed tip pills.

    I think I've got the 5.7 casing .308 round nose pills system down, however the best I can get is 180 gr. with out exposing the tip to get the last 10 gr. for 190 sub Sonics. Has any one used exposed tips in a 300 blackout? I know there are shooters who are using cast Boolits, but they are harder lead which takes a little more abuse in semi autos.

    What nose shape are you using?

    I run lead tip Bullets in my ARs often.

    The size and shape of the lead tip seem to make a difference, with a 4 ogive on the blackout being about perfect.
