Fogg or something coming out of powder measure.

I was checking to see if i needed to add powder to the hopper. When i took the lid off. A smokey fog cam rising out. Powder was sport pistol. New one on me.

The 4227 I have that's deteriorating had some rust colored cloud when I dumped it. Could it be that? Maybe the graphite is dusting in yours?

I hope you are not leaving powder in the measure. It has been known of reactions causing pitting in the powder measure cylinder and immediate degradation of the powder. If it was in longer than I week I would toss it and call it a lesson.
