    I don't have the time to mess with lapping compound right now. Quicker and easier for me to just use the Tubb bullet kit. From what I am seeing it will move the throat out some but I don't really see that as a problem.

    I have an 84 Montana in 243 that's a good shooter, just found another in a classic select 257 Roberts, waiting om scope bases for it.
