    Hard to find part.

I've never done it,,,but supposedly a follower from the WW2 Japanese Type 38 Service Rifle (6.5cal) will fit,,or can be made to fit the Siamese Mauser.
The floor plate from the Type 38 can be altered with a little work to the front hook and a notch at the rear to work on the Siamese.

Here's a link from Hoosier Gun Parts to some pics and instructions on converting the floor plate.
They only mention the follower swap in the last sentence or so,,no pics of that.

Worth keeping in mind if you aren;t successful in finding an original part.
I'd think the Japanese rifle parts would be easier to find though I've no experience with those personally.

    Good Luck with the search!
    Jim

An original Siamese follower is nearly impossible to find these days but is similar to any of the normal 98 followers and one of those should be able to be modified to work.

Thanks to all who responded to this thread. Looks like I'll be making one. Found a 98 follower which is very similar to the Siamese follower. It's as hard as a diamond, so I guess modifications will need to be done with a grinder.
