    WTS Small/Fine Lead Shot

    *** All Sold ***

I have some very small lead shot that I'd like to sell off. It's not 100% spherical and averages .040" in diameter. It's coated in graphite and is very soft, I am unsure what alloy it is. I used quite a bit in 410 and it really packs in and makes for a dense pattern, it would be great for busting clays or snake loads in handguns.

This is a picture of the small shot, I put some #9 shot on the lower left side of the pile for size comparison.

I can fit 15Lbs in a small flat rate box and I'd like to get $35 per box shipped, 0 box available. Let me know if you have any questions, thanks!

7 boxes left, I'll keep updating the original post with current quantity available.

Oily, yeah the stuff is really small in the picture I have some pellets of #9 shot for comparison and the #9 dwarfs this stuff. I could post a picture of something else of a known size by it for a better idea.

It's actually smaller than #12 shot, and shot of this diameter is normally referred to as "dust" shot. I haven't seen it commercially available in at least 20 years, though I'm not always looking, so I could have missed an offering.

It looks to be the size of shot you would find weighting down an aquarium thermometer that floats in the water like a bobber. Just a few grains in silicone in the bottom tip of the glass tube. Have heard of people using these fine shot to make pistol rounds to shoot birds who are making a mess in pole barn with their droppings. Shot is too light weight to go through walls or damage wood much. While still being an effective small bird deterrent.
Scrap.... because all the really pithy and emphatic four letter words were taken and we had to describe this source of casting material somehow so we added an "S" to what non casters and wives call what we collect.

Kind of hard to claim to love America while one is hating half the Americans that disagree with you. One nation indivisible requires work.
