    Score today!!!!

This morning I was at the bank taking care of some business and they had just gotten a delivery of new chairs for the tellers. The crew chief looked at his minions and told them to move all the old chairs/stools out to the truck when I said "Put the best looking one in my car". He looked at me and asked "How many do you want?"

I only had room in the car for one, but I now have a really comfortable leather adjustable swivel bar stool on casters to sit in front of the reloading bench.

35+ years ago I rescued an old, solid maple, rolling and swiveling banker's chair from the basement of an office building in Concord, NH. Over the years I have completely rebuilt the base, added a plastic wear plate, replaced one arm, and tightened the back. It's been in my son's dorm room, my family office, and now in the reloading room.

That was a great score. I have been combing Craigslist for something like that. I expanded my bench and had to move things into the garage and standing is just not as fun as it use to be.

As I type this, I am sitting in an older, broken office chair that will put you on your duff if you aren't careful about how you sit. LOL--like riding a bronc just waiting his chance. james

When i was in the construction trade, the carpenters built a shack for the boss's to gather in, and to keep the plans, and other paper work all together. The put a nice sloped table in as well as about 3 nice hand built tall stools. When the job was over, they started dumping stuff. I asked for, and got, a really nice hand made 4 legged stool. Forty years later, i still have it, and use it at my loading bench.

A trash can bar stool and a touch with a Tig 20 years ago and here I am.
