    MiHec. 45 Hammer/.450 Marlin

I tried 3 different .350 Marlin loads with this bullet yesterday. Prismatic sage color. Airsoft BB powder coat. Gas check applied after powder coat. Sized .460. 330 grains coated and checked. I only had 14 bullets to try.

Interestingly I cast these when I first got the mold. I have tried to cast with this mold about 3 or 4 different times and can't get it to cast a good bullet again. I have tried several different alloys with a good bit of lino and tin all ladle cast to no avail. Next thing to do is go over all the vent lines with a scribe as the mold acts like it isn't vented enough

2 of the 3 loads shot about 5 inches lower than my previous zero. This load with 50.0 grains of Reloaded 7 had pretty good recoil. I didn't have a chronograph set up but imagine it was 1800 FPS or more. One bullet struck just off the paper. By no means was this a max load

This load with 52.0 grains of Benchmark had little recoil and was obviously very slow as it hit off the paper even after I adjusted up 4 inches. Bang....wait for it...whack. It has potential and I will adjust the load up if I can get more cast.

Another load with potential. The first 3 went into a nice cluster. I hope to get to adjust this load some. I will also make the bullets a little harder as I am concerned about deformation in the magazine during recoil. All loads were shot at 100 yards.
