All these helpful posts and almost-offers, and no one has 63/37 solder? I'm on the last half of my last bar. Anything else would require me to re-do my math, and math is HARD!!!!

Seriously, I'm tempted to help out one of us with surplus, but I need more lead first. Not seeing much of that FS, but I do need to improve my Search-fu skills.

So the fact that we do not know the *exact* percentage of tin in pewter is a problem? Please explain how. It is a safe assumption that a mixed batch of pewter will be 90 to 95% tin, with the balance mostly antimony. I fail to see how a variance of a few percentage points will make a difference in the real world. I am looking to end up with 2 to 4% tin in my boolits. The difference between 3.1% and 3.2% (or even, gasp, 3.4%) is of no significance to me.
When you care enough to send the very best, send an ounce of lead.

I want to say thank you to all the folks in this thread who have various tin alloys and offered them up at very reasonable prices. I PM'd several of you regarding the various offers, and I thought each and every one of them were very fair and to the point. I have not been a member here very long (just over 30 days) and I have been impressed with everyone I have had contact with and those who I have not been in contact with but who's posts have been very informative.
    Thank you
