    Alloy mix .458 Socom 1800 fps powder coated

    Hey fellas got my dies brass molds now time to cast.
    Casting 2 size
    457 bullets 340&405gr will be powder coating running 1500 to 1850fps 18" barrel using lil gun and imr 4227.
    I have pure lead a **** ton of linotype and tin.
    Looking for a guide line on alloy mix.
    Thinking around 5% antimony 4% tin 91% lead. That's my best guess.
    Any advise??
    Thanx

    From the Rotometals website-
    BHN = 8.60 + (0.92 * Antimony% ) + (0.29 * Tin%)

    91/5/4 = 14.4 BHN
    95/2.5/2.5 = 11.6 BHN

    95/2.5/2.5 = 11.6 BHN would work great in a big 300-350 gr bullet

    I shoot a 325gr HP with a 48/48/2 CCWW, PB, HSB alloy very accurately at 1600 FPS . real deer killer
    according to my alloy calculator this yields a 9.9 BHN
    use it in 300 Blackouts going over 1900 FPS, 45/70 at 1575 ect ect
