ARSENAL Molds 503 Quick review

I love the original Elmer Keith SWC design, and wanted to make bigger piles of them.

IIRC, in his book Sixguns, he stated that Ideal(lyman) changed his design,.... of 3 equal driving full diameter driving bands, and H&G's 503 was his true design. flat base, less lead in the case, more out front, to make room for 2400 goodness.

Searching around, I found ARSENAL MOLDS makes a classic H&G #503 clone, and in a 5 cavity

I emailed them asking about time to get one shipped and got a quick reply, the 5 cav was in stock and ready to ship

I went for it, got the tracking number the same day, and soon had a nicely made mold that drops large amounts of prefect elmer Kieth bullets.

Very happy with this mold. ( I'm not affiliated with them, just a happy customer )

I imagine they might, they made a 225-61 mold designed by you-tuber "elvis ammo", now listed on there website.

Yes they do and are very good to deal with and do good work

Got a swc 41 from them.Good mould at good price. They do not seem popular on this forum for some reason. Think there was a pissing match between arsenal and another producer at one time but I don’t care. I will buy from them all if they have a good product at a good price.
