    Stolen Zeiss

About three years ago this Spring I had a Zeiss Diavari- ZM 3-12 x 56 no. 11 reticle serial no. 732845 stolen off my table at the Tulsa Gun Show.

To date nothing has been heard of it. While part of me hopes the gun that took it dropped it so it was unusable, I would rather try to get it recovered.

My post is to hope that someone has an acquaintance who acquired it at some point would notify me so I could take steps to recover it. Long shot I know, but I had a lost Colt missing since Dec 2013 located and being returned to me as I write this. Miracles do happen!

Please keep your eyes open for my scope please.

There will be a cash reward!

Still waiting/hoping for the recovery of a Ruger Single Six 6" barrel my old man gave me for my 20th birthday.

I'll dig the serial # out again soon.

    Stolen in 2001 or 2002

Hope you get the scope back, quick
I will fear no evil, for thou art with me.

I've put security (sheriff's dept) on a couple thieves I've seen at gun shows. I could confront them but I like seeing them in handcuffs and lead away better.

Is there any national registry of stolen guns? I had 5 pistols & a shotgun stolen from our home 30+ years ago. Checked with our local sheriff, and they still list them as hot. Just wondering if this is on a national hot list?
I did get one back through the BATF, of all things. Agent that handled my case was a real gentleman.

I've always ran private purchases through hotgunz.com

It's supposed to be a database including any reported thefts to police.

If nothing, it gives me peace of mind a little in a private sale. I'll often pull it up on my smart phone while looking at the gun. To date I haven't had any come back positive but my out was to say thanks but I thanks, try to get the tag and notify authorities.
