    New Vulcan. 25

I jumped into the wonderful world of PCP airgunning with this beauty, custom tuned by Tony at Talon Tunes.

    Goodbye squirrels...

I stole the SWFA SS 10x42 from my .223 and it's perfect on this 'lil air rifle. Quiet as a mouse fart too, the impact makes more noise than the gun and so accurate it's almost boring. Almost....

    That's the base price yes.

I am sure it is a nice air rifle for sure but I can't personally justify spending that kind of money.

I will have to say, I thought about getting one of those .357 cal air rifles that use standard projectiles.

This uses standard projectiles too and isn't nearly the air hog the big bores are. You just about have to have your own HPA compressor with a big bore and they're not cheap either. And they're next to impossible to really silence. You can quiet them down but they're still loud.

quality airgun equip. is not cheap, springers run from $400 -800, plus the scope which must be made for springers. Good PCPs run from $1000 -3000 or more, a filling bottle is required at $500+ and many need a compressor as well for $1000-4000. I can't explain it but all this stuff is getting very popular and seems to sell very well. Most are made in UK or Germany and salaries are very high there.....one positive is that you walk out the store with the gun, no licences, no gov. checks , etc.
