    Henry single shot

I guess I'm getting to old and I'm more of a traditionalist. This doesn't say 45-70 single shot to me but it looks accurate. Kind of short and no open sights what a shame on the sights. I was excited to see this coming out but after seeing it on line was kind of disappointed with both aspects. Maybe one day they'll make one in my configuration. I know this will cause a stir so guys...it's just my opinion rather right or wrong. Thanks

Dang! They really do exist! or so they say. I have never actually seen one in real life. Thanks for posting that video. Other than the big scope and the bi-pod I think they look a lot more traditional than say an H&R and certainly a CVA. Hopefully I will still be interested when the 44 Mags actually reach retailers. BTW, they do come with sights, the guy in the video removed the rear sight on his because of the scope....

(That H&R comment should stir a few things up!)

My bad...I thought when I first looked at them on line they didn't have any sights.

If these are accurate they should sell good. I always liked the idea of a single shot break action rifle, but the accuracy just wasn't there in most brands.

Maybe a stupid question: What would be the advantage of having a significantly longer barrel?

For .45-70 it is for weight and getting more black powder burned (for those of us who'd want it for a BPCR).

If any of you have one of these, please post a real review. The ones posted on line by the "experts" are not always very useful.

I am particularly interested in brass one. Love the looks and the heft.

My letter was recently mailed off entreating Mr. Imperato to produce the steel frame in .41 Magnum, stating that my money was ready and waiting. We'll see.
