Drop tube for 475 Linebaugh?

So I pan lube and have found it very beneficial to use a shell to slide down over my bullets before the wax fully hardens now to break them loose. I have been using a 50 BMG shell for 475 L but it presents a number of problems, not the least of which is that it's too big. Any suggestions for something to use that is larger than a 475 shell and smaller than 50 BMG? I was thinking of drilling a hole just a hair under 1/2" in a piece of round stock and then turning it down on a lathe, except I don't have a lathe

Get a piece of brass tubing 13mm is .511 and a .015 wall thickness ( Online Metals or Hobby store have an assortment) and size it down on one to the Id you want for basically the length of the bullet. cut the tubing 3-4" long and fit 2" or so oof clear tygon tubing to it for a handle. You can sharpen the edge with a chamfering tool. In use you can push it over the bullets and just keep going as they push out the top.
