The FAQ video is way off in hardness requirement IMHO I stopped it there.
I consistently shoot 1800 fps with 12 BHN with no leading, 15 to 20 BHN is a waste, again IMHO.
Mee to!
1850fps and beyond, easy with a check.
What most people confuse is the pressure treshold where an alloy start obturating/deforming and the max pressure it will endure before failing.
I shoot 97/3 (BHN 8) with a check to 1750fps in my 44MAG Marlin 94 microgroove and its @5k shots since last cleaning
As i use say: Rock hard alloy is a pi** poor substitute for proper bullet fit.
If you get the fit right you can push softer alloy much harder.
