    Looking for a usable Winchester 1892 breech/bolt, 25-20 32-20, with firing pin.

I was told there is a large and small diameter firing pin, black powder and smokeless powder????
any thoughts on how to repair bolt when surface where pin goes through is eroded(see photo)
A good Smith should be able to drill that out and sleeve it.

You could probably get it bushed. They do old single shots that way by bushing the firing pin.

Hit the easy button and get the breach face bushed and re-drilled. I'd send in your old firing pin also so the can turn it down to a smaller diameter for smokeless.

Yes, you have the old style. Alot of problems from cratering/primer flow back into the fp hole on the breech face as seen in the spent shells. The newer style is like .080-.095 diameter?
