I have a marlin 1895 gsbl 45-70 and am trying to get away from jacketed bullets. I’m currently running a Hornady 350gr hp at 2000fps. I’d like to match something close to that performance. I don’t quite know what I want or need yet but I’m open for your guidance. Let me know what you have and how much they are.

Well, at least we all know the size you need. All I have is the 350gr but I PC mine, but as odd as it may sound I haven't loaded any yet. Now the 405gr is a whole nuther critter. And those collar button (186gr) on top of 10gr of Unique travel just under 1K FPS with very lite recoil,are a hoot to shoot....AKA gallery loads.
Don't sell what I have, with current laws it's best to just trade.
