    Missouri Lead Bullets

Anyone here tried the Missouri bullets in muzzleloader rifles? Especially the 44 or 45-cals inside 50-cal sabots?
The 300gr Silhouettes are the ones that interest me. But I'm guessing Silhouette bullets are more fragile and only intended for short distances hunting???... I dunno!

The .44 and .45 boolits sized 1/1000 over jacketed and put into the appropriate sabot are too tight a fit to use in my .50 cal Omega. Could be just my particular rifle.

Thank You, for I was intending on using them in my Omega. Plus I read this evening that the bullet(s) are definitely hard-cast lead... Brinell 18.

That puts to bed this thread.
    Thanks again........
